COMMUNITY GAMES

Boherbue-Kiskeam Community Games have regrouped and already are the holders of a national medal.

Brianne Herlihy finished third in the All-Ireland under 8 art competition with a fabulous drawing of a swimming competition.

These National finals were held last weekend at UL in Limerick where young musician Shane Daly participated in the u12 solo with the tin whistle and although not finishing in the top three he was flawless with his performance and no doubt will be heard of again in the years ahead.

The Committee wish to thank the parents for their participation over the past few months.

PILGRIMAGE

The annual Eucharistic Adoration Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine takes place on Saturday, June 15.

The programme begins at 11am with talks, testimonies, adoration and confession.

Holy Mass in the Basilica at 3pm with celebrant Most Rev Eamonn Martin, Bishop of Armagh. Bus leaves at 7am. Contact Tom Dennehy at 087 6468658. Cost €20.
