Safety Statements

Section 20 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires that an organisati­on produce a written programme to safeguard the safety and health of employees while they work and the safety and health of other people who might be at the workplace, including customers, visitors and members of the public.

Risk Assessment­s

Section 19 of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 requires that employers and those who control workplaces to any extent must identify the hazards in the workplaces under their control and assess the risks to safety and health at work presented by these hazards.

Method Statements

Also, referred to as a safe work method statement or SWMS or a safe work procedure, is a part of a workplace safety plan. Primarily used in constructi­on to describe a document that gives specific instructio­ns on how to safely perform a work related task, or operate a piece of plant or equipment.

Harness Inspection

Fall Protection Equipment is required to be thoroughly examined on a regular basis and at a minimum of every 6 months. A thorough examinatio­n is also required after circumstan­ces that may be liable to have affected the integrity and safety of the PFPE.
