Vintage run to fund new Liscarroll NS sensory garden

LISCARROLL National School and the Duhallow Vintage Club will be hosting a Vintage Car and Tractor Run at the school on Sunday September 22 in aid of the Lios Cúram Autism Unit in the school.

Participants can sign in from 10am with cars departing from Liscarroll NS at noon.

Teas and refreshments will be served afterwards in the school hall.

The funds raised at the event will go directly towards the creation of a new outdoor sensory area for the children that use Lios Cúram.

The Lios Cúram Autism unit is a specially designed section of the primary school that was created to meet the needs of pupils affected by autism.

It has three dedicated and specially designed classrooms as well as a spacious occupational therapy room and a multi sensory room.
