Cuan Mhuire shop opens
THERE was a great turn-out at the official opening of the Friend’s of Cuan Mhuire Charity shop on the High Street on Thursday last.
The ribbon was cut by Sr. Consilio surrounded by a huge number of supporters and volunteers. A fine spread of teas, coffees, cakes and buns was laid on for all who attended.
The shop itself is extremely well laid out and has a fine selection of clothes, jewelery, bags, homeware and ornaments. The shop is open Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Donations of clothes and other bric a brac can be made during opening hours.
The volunteers who run the shop respectfully ask that bags not be left outside the shop.
This is a fantastic addition to the town and a great cause so make sure to pop in; you’d never know what you might find in there.
(Much more on this next week - we’ve deferred most coverage due to the fantastic hurling wins)
