Culture Night expo

CHARLEVILLE Heritage Society will mark Culture Night on the 20th September next with a photographic exhibition showing images of the people and places of Charleville.

Also, on view, by public demand, will be the photographs of the Lawrence Collection (courtesy of the National Library of Ireland), that were exhibited at the Charleville Show at the end of June, as many local people did not get around to viewing them at the Show.

The exhibition will be held at the Mercy Convent Provincial Heritage Centre and the curator, Sr. Bernadette Maria, will be on hand to welcome visitors to the centre along with members of the Heritage Society.

Admission is free and refreshments will also be provided. The photographic exhibition was on view previously but new pictures have been added to the display, which should prove to be of interest to people from the locality.
