Millstreet Pipe Band set to hold registration night

MILLSTREET Pipe Band hosts a registration night on Friday, September 13, at 7.30pm.

The venue is the Curious Minds Preschool that’s sited beside the Carnegie Hall. The Band welcomes young people – aged from 10 years upwards – and adults who would like to join.

There will be free tuition for new band members on Friday nights from 7.30pm to 8pm, and the band has practice at their band room in the Carnegie Hall and at Curious Minds Pre-school.

Equipment costs for new members are €20, and normal class times are from 7pm to 8pm for new members and from 8pm to 9pm for senior members.

Band uniform and instruments are provided free of charge for as long as members remain with the pipe band.

Transport costs to major events are also provided free of charge for each member.
