MITCHELSTO­WN Day Care is open one day per week on Tuesdays from 10am to 4pm.

Transport and lunch is provided, and the cost is €15 per day.

Music and entertainm­ent is also provided, and the care is dementia-specific and person-centred.

Also, a Family Informatio­n Centres takes place on Wednesday, September 25, from 7pm to 9pm.

This is a six-week course, and the venue will be Tearmann Uí Chaoimh, James Street, Mitchelsto­wn.

KILDORRERY COTTAGE MARKET The Kildorrery Cottage Market takes place in the Old Creamery Yard every second Saturday from 10am to 1pm on September 14 and 28. All the best in home baking; fruit and veg; arts and crafts; home produce; and hot food will be on offer.

PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK

The annual St Vincent de Paul Pilgrimage to Knock takes place this Saturday, September 14. The cost is €20 for adults and €10 for children. The bus leaves the Old Mart Premises, Mitchelsto­wn, at 7.30am. Booking is from (025) 84 733.

COFFEE MORNING Assumpta Roche, Ballybeg, will host her 25th annual coffee morning in aid of Marymount Hospice on Thursday, September 19, from 9am to 9pm.
