MALLOW ART CLUB
MALLOW Art club will hold their next demonstration on Thursday, October 3 in the Mercy Centre at 7.30pm.
Artist Jack Cornhouse will do a portrait of a figure with a landscape background, in mixed medium. All are welcome.
RED CROSS COLLECTION
THE Mallow / Charleville Branch of the Irish Red Cross will be holding their annual Church Gate Collections this weekend on Saturday, September 28 and Sunday, September 29 in Churchtown and Dromina.
Donations towards Mallow Charleville Red Cross helps the group to maintain their ambulances, whilst also enablng them to proceed with the completion of their new ambulance base. Thank you for your support and, as always, it is greatly appreciated. THE annual Texas Hold’em Freeze Out card game in memory of the late John Cronin, whose 7th anniversary occurs at this time, will take place at Mona’s Bar on Friday, October 11.
This is a €25 Freeze Out event. Registration is at 9.30pm with games commencing at 9.45pm. All are welcome and all monies paid out.
