Kanturk juveniles to contest two county finals
OVER the coming weeks Kanturk underage teams contest two Rebel Og Cork county finals.
First up is the Rebel Og Cork U16 Division 1 Football Championship final against St Michaels, which has been fixed for this Sunday 10th November at 2pm, the venue to be decided. Kanturk have already bagged the hurling final and will be hopeful of completing a county double.
Down for decision on Friday 22nd November is the Rebel Og U18 Div1 Hurling county final with Newcestown providing the opposition. More details on this fixture will be available next week.
JUNIOR ‘B’ HURLING:
On Tuesday next 12th November, Kanturk face Aghabullogue in the county Jubior ‘B’ Hurling league semi-final at Pairc Ui Chaoimh 4G pitch with an 8.15pm start.
Aghabullogue will be buoyed by the capturing the county championship this past weekend so
Kanturk are likely to face a stiff challenge in their quest to reach a county league final. CORK GAA CLUBS DRAW:
While the first two draws (September/October) of the 2019/2020 series was held on Friday last November 1st, one can still join the Cork GAA clubs draw at any stage.
The funding raised through the draw is very important to Kanturk GAA and if you wish to join the draw, please contact any club officer or join online at corkgaadraw.ie. One can either pay by credit card or set up a direct debit.
Over a twelve month period there is €450k in prizes. On most months there is a first prize of €20,000.
Fixtures: Sunday 10th November at TBA, Rebel Og Cork U16 Div1 FC Final; Wolfe Tones (Kanturk) V St Michaels 2pm. Monday 12th November at Pairc Ui Chaoimh 4G, Cork J’B’HL Semi Final; Kanturk v Aghabullogue 8.15pm.
