KILCORNEY SOCIAL CLUB

The Kilcorney Social Club will commence its activities on Tuesday November 12th at 8.30pm in the Kilcorney Social Centre. Please come along for a friendly game of cards, a chat and a cup of tea. Everybody welcome to come along every Tuesday night at 8.30pm.

BOWLING CLUB RESULTS

Mickie Murphy and Aaron Mackey had a last shot win over Ned Kelleher and Mickey McAuliffe and also had a bowl of odds to spare over Eugene O Sullivan and Kevin Flynn.

Joanne Murphy and John Breen beat Danny Murphy and Maurice Cashman in a last shot play off and also beat Kevin Flynn and Mark Flynn by a bowl of odds. Ned Kelleher and Eugene O Sullivan hit top form to record a last shot win over Mickie Murphy and Aaron Mackey.

Joanne Murphy and Maurice Cashman put their names up on the leader board when they beat John Breen and Mickey McAuliffe for the last shot.

DENIS HORGAN CLUB A.G.M.

The Denis Horgan Bowling Club held their A.G.M. recently at the club premises. Chairman, Ned Kelleher opened the meeting. He thanked everybody for their efforts during the year and said all competitio­ns were run off on time. Hon secretary, John Breen gave a detailed account of the various competitio­ns that were run off during the year and all other events associated with the club. Hon treasurer, Maurice Cashman gave a breakdown of the club finances.
