Richie Wallace
The death occurred on March 17 of Richie Wallace at Beechlodge Nursing Home, Bruree.
The late Richie, of Oldcastletown, Kildorrery, was very well known locally.
His Funeral was private to Mitchelstown Cemetery as it was for best practice and guidelines in response to the outbreak of COVID-19.
To his sisters, Helen Howell, Brough, Doneraile; Peggy Geary, Castleredmond, Midleton; and Aine Cronin, Kilglass, Anglesboro, we tended our sincere sympathy.
Sympathy also to his brothers-inlaw, Michael Geary and Noel Cronin; nephews; nieces; grandnieces; grandnephews; neighbours and a large circle of friends.
Tom O’Brien
The death occurred on March 16 of Tom O’Brien, Gortishal, Ballyporeen.
The late Tom was well known locally.
He was in his 89th year.
His Funeral was held privately to St Mary’s Cemetery Ballyporeen, in accordance with Government guidelines for COVID-19.
To his sister, Bridie; sister-in-law, Bridget; nieces; nephews; relatives; neighbours; and friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
Mary (Maureen) Begley
The death took place on March 21 of Mary Begley (Maureen, née Freeman) of 31 St Joseph’s Square, Fermoy, and formerly of Propogue, Araglin, at Cuisle Ward Fermoy Community Hospital.
The late Mary was in her 95th year. She was a popular member of the local community.
A private Funeral took place due to the Government advice regarding public gatherings.
To her son, Donal; daughter, Mary; son-in-law, Moss Fitzgerald, Kilbehenny; sisters, Biddy and Eileen; nephews; nieces; relatives; neighbours; and many friends, we tender our sincere sympathy.
Billy Butterworth
The death occurred on March 22 of Billy Butterworth, Daly’s Terrace, Kilworth.
The late Billy was in his 94th year and died at St Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy.
He was very well known.
A private Funeral was held due to the Government advice on large gatherings.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
