AN EYE OPENER

Now that the virus has taken a foothold and we’re all being extremely careful. The time has come for us all to reflect on the past and how lucky we have been throughout our lifetime.

Its an eye opener, people are not used to confinement -- its also an apportunity to think of what its like in the poorer countries, what their daily lifestyle is like.

No doubt, from now on, I think we’ll all be less critical of one another, the Government, the Church, the GAA and so on!

This health scare has brought out the best in a lot of people, generosity and kindness to family, friends and neighbours. It has also put everyone on the same level -- money doesn’t matter now -- one cannot buy their way out of this sudden fear. But we can fight our way out with care and attention, abiding by the authorities as advised to do so and please God it will all pass on and we can sit back and relax once again.
