Pat Ahern RIP

IT was with great sadness that the death of Pat Ahern was received in Kanturk last week.

Pat, formerly of Kanturk, Macroom, Fermoy and Blarney, was a retired Manager of AIB, Kenmare, where he settled down.

Pat was predeceased by his sister Rita. Beloved husband of Mary (nee O’Donovan), loving father of Michael and Rosemary and adoring grandfather of Chloe, Cormac and Rowan. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family, daughter-in-law Molly, son-in-law Niall, brothers John, Morty and Joe, sisters Joan, Eileen and Sheila, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts Eileen and Kathleen, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Pat will be greatly missed but he will be fondly remembered wherever he worked by the many friends he made along the way. Rest in peace, Pat.
