While recent times had been extremely challenging for business, our communities and those who are vulnerable in our society, Avondhu Blackwater Partnership Board, Management and Staff wish to assure you that we are open for business to support you at this challenging time through a wide range of practical actions and a proven network of organisations, working in collaboration to support the Avondhu Blackwater region.

Working in close collaboration with Cork County Council’s Local Enterprise Offices, the LCDC’s and the Municipal Districts across Cork County, Avondhu Blackwater Partnership CLG is continuing to support local niche business, rural tourism, agri- diversification and enterprise development through investment and training via our LEADER programme 2014-2020.

Central to the effective delivery of supports to local business is the well-established referral pathways with the Local Enterprise Office and Failte Ireland, for example. The Local Enterprise Office offers access to effective business development training, mentoring, trading online vouchers and business development supports.

Furthermore, our SICAP programme offers a wide range of practical training, interview skills training via video conferencing, a weekly list of current job vacancies in the area and business planning support for individuals considering starting their own business. If you require advice, support or if you have a query in relation to LEADER grant funding eligibility for niche or innovative business development, please contact our development staff for advice and guidance.

While programme activity under our Social Inclusion (SICAP) and the LEADER programme 2014-2020 are naturally curtailed by the current restrictions and social distancing measures, all staff are operating remotely with meetings and support available over the phone, email or via online meetings, if required.

Please visit www.avondhublackwater.com for all staff emails and mobile numbers. We look forward to continuing our support for you and your business at this difficult time and into the future as we emerge from this crisis.
