Community field and local golf club available to get lock-down exercise
ARAGLIN Community Field is staying open for the duration of the COVID-19 crisis.
While this has raised eyebrows in some quarters, locals have adopted a very sensible approach to the arrangement.
The facility is being used by the public for walking and light exercise. In all instances people are being responsible and respecting what is a very important amenity.
Also, since Monday, Mitchelstown Golf Course is open for members within the five-kilometre radius.
Many members have now availed of the facilities, helped by the very good weather.
All members are abiding by the social distance regulations.
There are, of course, no competitions at the moment.
