Kanturk GAA lotto resumes

KANTURK GAA lotto resumes with the draw returning on Tuesday 7th July and an attractive prize fund of €11,900.

Kanturk GAA lotto tickets, which are €2 each or 3 for €5 are on sale locally but also each Saturday outside Twohig’s Super Valu, Kanturk along with O’Riordan’s Day Break at Banteer Road.

One can also support and purchase Kanturk GAA lotto through the clubforce.com website and search for Kanturk GAA and access the lotto portal where you can buy tickets for a weekly or multiple basis.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS:

With the resumption of playing Gaelic Games, Kanturk are set to have a busy time from late July as the county championship programme begins.

Over the weekend of 24/26th July, Kanturk will face Macroom in the opening round of the Premier Intermediate Football championship and the following two weeks will see the Senior hurlers play Cloyne and Killeagh on successive weekends with a return to football duty on weekend of 14/16th August against Nemo Rangers.

Two weeks later Kanturk return to senior hurling action on the weekend of 28/30th August against Newcestown, followed by PIFC against Gabriel Rangers a week later. Dates and venues will be finalised over the coming week.

INTER COUNTY:

Cork Senior Hurlers and Footballers face inter-county championships from the middle of October with the hurlers facing Waterford in the Munster Semi Final while the footballers face Kerry at Pairc Ui Chaoimh also in the Munster Semi-final.

The losers of the hurling tie will have a back door into the All Ireland series whereas the football is straight knockout.
