Tiny Feet Fairy Garden fundraiser

FOLLOWING on from a very successful day on Saturday at the garden fundraising sale, organisers behind the Tiny Feet Fairy Garden intend to host another one next Sunday, August 23. The address is on the Mill Road by the junction with Masseytown Road, Macroom, P12C447.

The sale runs from 2pm to 4pm, and organisers got so much donated by most of you beautiful people that they still have an excessive amount left to get rid of. Lots of home baking also. The porter cakes that sold out in no time last Saturday will be on sale again.

So, the way they will work it this time is, if you see some item you like, just give a donation for it and it’s yours.

So again, lots of beautiful stuff in store. Maybe the people who could not make it last Saturday will be able to attend this time around. Who doesn’t love a bargain?

Organisers say they need to get across the importance of having consideration for the residents of Masseytown. Please do not park in the Fairy Garden, the spaces there are for volunteers on the day. There is a car park at O’Riadas nightclub, car spaces in town, and a car park in the Castle grounds.

It’s only a short walk from the centre of town down along the river walk. Please try, if at all possible, not to park in Masseytown Road, as residents need their own parking spaces. We all need to keep residents, children, and everyone safe.

Social distancing is advisable. Gloves and hand sanitizer for anyone who wishes to use it. Lots of items at bargain prices.

Anyone who buys a lot of items, or heavy items will, of course, have permission to drive in afterwards to collect purchases as they won’t be expected to drag their stuff around all day. Please support again.

Hope you all have a wonderful day.
