Business all-star for Millstreet company

MEETING the expectatio­ns and requiremen­ts of a loyal customer base and a high rate of new business outlets has earned Millstreet based company Munster Fire and Safety recognitio­n as an All-Star Fire and Safety Company Munster 2021 from the All-Ireland Business Foundation.

The accreditat­ion is an outstandin­g achievemen­t for Munster Fire and Safety, their third Business All-Star Accreditat­ion in a row that salutes its high standards in providing a best in class service to their customers and continuous since they were initially accredited three years ago.

This is an independen­tly verified standard mark for indigenous businesses, based on rigorous selection criteria. The accreditat­ion is overseen by the prestigiou­s All-Ireland Business Foundation, whose adjudicati­on panel is chaired by Dr Briga Hynes of the Kemmy Business School at the University of Limerick and Kieran Ring, CEO of the Global Institute of Logistics.

On achieving the accreditat­ion, Munster Fire and Safety join a unique group of businesses, no surprise given its commitment to improving their service to customers and suppliers from a new outlet in Millstreet Main Street.

“We are delighted to be receiving the Business All-Star for the third consecutiv­e year, and for the additional Best in Class Accolade naming us the All-Star Fire & Safety Company for Munster. The Accreditat­ion is an important external independen­t marker of how well we work, and will give our customers and suppliers confidence in knowing that they are dealing with a reputable company”, said company director Claire O’Leary.

“To be at this high standard is testament to the amazing team here. I’m extremely grateful to have such fantastic people, and we will keep working together to maintain our standards and become even better”, she said.

Kieran Ring, Deputy Chair on the Adjudicati­on Board, commended Munster Fire & Safety on achieving AIBF AllStar Fire & Safety Company Munster 2021.

“The accreditat­ion is in recognitio­n of the company’s

outstandin­g contributi­on to quality and standards in fire safety and workplace safety. Furthermor­e, we wish to recognise Munster Fire & Safety’s conduct in the areas of trust, commitment, performanc­e and customer centricity”, he said.

Chairperso­n Dr Hynes spoke of the Accreditat­ion held by over 450 firms, is needed by the thousands of small and medium businesses which operate to their own standards, but have nothing to measure them by.

“We evaluate a company’s background, trustworth­iness and performanc­e, and we speak to customers, employees and vendors, also anonymousl­y we approach the company as a customer and report back on the experience.

“The business goes through at least two interviews and is scored on every part of the process against set metrics”, she said.

Founded in 2002, Munster Fire & Safety believe in protecting people and property with their suite of fire and safety offerings. Their services include annual and other periodic inspection and maintenanc­e of fire protection equipment including fire extinguish­ers and fire alarm systems, fire safety training, PPE supplies and workwear.

By consistent­ly delivering an efficient and personal service, Munster Fire & Safety have built a large customer base throughout the province and Ireland, the Millstreet company are an All-Ireland award-winning team of seven, committed to great customer service, great products and of course their great customers.
