CULLEN WEIGH-IN

Cullen and District Special Needs Association were really pleased with the attendance on the opening night when despite the atrocious weather conditions 48 adults stood on the scales some making it creek louder than others.

With Mairead Reen from Reens Life Pharmacy in Millstreet assuming the role of facilitator each individual is weighed privately on a weekly basis - Monday nights 8pm - with the final results being revealed on Monday March 11th when the prize-giving ceremony takes place.

Each week the event commences at 7.30pm with exercise to the music of Hannah O’Connor something that is enjoyable, fun and creates a great sense of friendship among the contestants.

Go along any Monday to the Community Centre, its never too late to join and by doing so you are supporting an organisation that do tremendous work mostly unnoticed for the Special Needs Schools and individuals over a wide area.
