This Easter, families in County Cork are invited to join in the festive fun at The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland’s annual Easter egg hunt in Liscarroll.

Taking place from Friday, March 29th to Monday, April 1st, this family-friendly event promises a day of outdoor adventure, sweet treats, and quality time with adorable donkeys.

The Easter egg hunt, a much-loved tradition at the sanctuary, offers a delightful opportunity for families to celebrate the holiday season together. Participants will embark on an exciting quest to find hidden eggs while enjoying the scenic beauty of the sanctuary’s open farm.

In addition to the egg hunt, visitors will have the chance to meet the sanctuary’s friendly donkeys, who are always eager to greet guests and receive a bit of attention. With plenty of photo opportunities and memories to be made, this event is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike.

To ensure everyone’s comfort, attendees are advised to arrive by 2pm, as gates will close promptly at 4pm each day. Admission is €3 per child, with complimentary entry for adults. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome to join in the fun.

“We’re thrilled to welcome local families to our Easter egg hunt extravaganza,” said Cormac Kenny, Farm Manager at The Donkey Sanctuary Ireland. “It’s the perfect opportunity for families to enjoy some outdoor fun together and make lasting memories while supporting our work to care for donkeys in need.”

Do note that this event is weather-dependent, so be sure to check social media channels and website for any updates closer to the date.
