The weather was very favourable and Church services were well attended in Mallow for Easter 2024.

The main sporting life on the Mallow calander is the three day meeting at Mallow Racecourse which always attracts a large amount of people to social activities in the town. The younger in society were dressed to the nines for the Easter Sunday races and later converging in droves to the pubs in the town which is certainly the busiest night of the year in Mallow.

Many Mallow folk now living abroad were also at home to celebrate and meet with loved ones and friends.

The Castletownroche native, now residing in Mallow, was again to the fore, knocking out a brilliant performances of classic hits and ending with his now legendary act singing the Frank Sinatra anthem My Way as he walked the pub counter to much applause.

Also present at the event was Billy Kelleher MEP.

The All Party Parade progressed from Mallow Courthouse at 12 noon led by a Colour Party from the L.D.F., passing through New Road, Fair Street, Main Street and the Plaza, where the Thomas Davis Pipe Band played A Nation Once Again at the Thomas Davis statue.
