A feast of fashion at the Cultúrlann
FASHION, music, fun and lively banter, all enhanced by a few glasses of wine, made for a fabulous Women’s Social Evening recently at the Cultúrlann, Newmarket.
The glittering event was organised by Boherbue Juvenile GAA Club members as a fundraising endeavour to purchase much needed equipment for the children of the Club.
Tracey Walker, a member of the organising committee said that women from all around the locality enjoyed a fabulous evening.
“With support from notable beauty brands like Bperfect and Ayu Cosmetics, as well as beverage provider Parachute Drinks, the event provided ample fun and entertainment. Attendees, who received a fabulous Goodie bag on arrival, mingled and danced well into the night with the electric atmosphere fuelled by great music”.
Local boutiques including Noirin’s, Millstreet, Lady Lydia’s, Kanturk, Jo’s Boutique, Kanturk, and O’Shea’s, Newmarket provided fashionable outfits and accessories which were wonderfully showcased by a team of local models who took to the Catwalk for the night.
“With fantastic community backing, our creative fundraiser enabled Boherbue Juvenile GAA to bring the women of the parish together for a great cause - raising essential funds to provide equipment like new goalposts and footballs for the children who are the future of our community,” Tracey Walker said.
Boherbue Juvenile GAA added that they were supported by fantastic sponsors who contributed to the prize draw and spot prizes on the evening, including overnight stays at The Ashling Hotel Dublin, Hayfield Manor Cork and The Clayton Hotel Limerick. “These generous contributions to prizes added to the excitement on the evening and we would like to acknowledge all who supported us on the night including local businesses Kanturk Printers and Super Valu Boherbue”.
