Clondrohid U18s were away last Sunday against Canovee in the league.

Weather conditions weren’t ideal for both teams but a good competitiv­e game was had.

Clondrohid were without a number of players on the day. They got off to a good start putting scores on the board and settled well. Canovee grew into the game and by half time led by a single point on a scoreline of Clondrohid 1-7 Canovee 2-5.

Second half resumed with both teams contesting well in a good sporting game. As the half wore on Clondrohid got on top and ran out deserved winners on the day on a scoreline of Clondrohid 3-14 Canovee 3-8. Thanks to the parents for their support.

REBEL OG U16 EAST DIVISION 3 LEAGUE - Clondrohid played their second league game against Canovee at home recently in terrible weather conditions, playing with the wind in the first half they conceded 2 goals in the first 5 minutes but Clondrohid recovered from this setback to go in at half time to lead by one point .

Playing against the wind in the second half the players upped their work rate and scored some tremendous points and added 2 further goals to run out worthy winners on a scoreline of Clondrohid 4..9 to Canovee 3..3 .Thanks to Canovee for a good sporting game and to all the parents for their usual support

REBEL OG WEST U14 DIV 2 LEAGUE CLONDROHID VS CANOVEE - The Clondrohid and Canovee U14 teams played this league game on Sunday morning March 17 at Carrigadro­hid. Clondrohid had the aid of the win in the first half and lead 2-7 to 2-1 at HT. Canovee fought back in the second half, with the game level and 4 minutes remaining Canovee added a goal and a point to win by 4 points.

It was very sporting and entertaini­ng game, well done to both teams. Full Time Clondrohid 3-08pts Canovee 5-6pts

REBEL OG WEST U14 DIV 2 LEAGUE - Clondrohid vs Aghabullog­ue on Saturday Mar 30 in Clondrohid.

Aghabullog­ue had the aid of the wind in the first half but it was Clondrohid who started better and played some great football scoring 3 goals in the first 10 minutes. Aghabullog­ue fought back with 2 goals of their own to put 4 points between the teams at HT, 4-2 to 2-4.

The second half was very even with both teams giving it everything they had. Clondrohid finished stronger with Jamie McCarthy getting his 4th goal from the penalty spot to put 6 points between the teams, 2 more points followed to see Clondrohid win the game, 7-05 to 4-06.

It was a very sporting and entertaini­ng game, well done to both teams.
