TheRory Gallagher International Tribute Festival

The legendary guitarist was born in – where else? – Ballyshannon’s Rock Hospital in 1948 and though he was taken from us too early aged just 47 his stature is undiminished. This festival, attended regularly by over 10,000 souls, helps keep his memory alive 19 years after he died. Rory’s former bass player Gerry McAvoy is on the bill as well as Eric Bell and Pat McManus.
