Forgotten people

Since the collapse of the Lough Swilly Bus Company, we, the senior citizens of Buncrana, cannot get free travel to Derry. Going into Derry once a week is a lifeline – to meet friends and family and pick up some much-needed bargains.

We in Inishowen are also citizens of Ireland – and we vote! The elections are coming up. Don’t ask me to vote for anyone in Dublin. Unless you live here, you cannot understand how forgotten we are.
