One down, two to go

Everything’s Rosie-ish on the morning after wedding number one

NEWLYWEDS Rosanna Davison and Wesley Quirke went to great lengths to avoid being pictured on their wedding day – and weren’t too happy to be snapped the morning after the night before, either.

The couple appeared to be showing the after-effects of the celebrations – the first of three weddings planned – as they walked back to their hotel after a brief foray into the May sunshine.

They officially tied the knot at a civil ceremony at Dublin’s fivestar Merrion Hotel on Friday in front of just 25 guests who were banned from using their phones.

Rosanna wore a bespoke figurehugging gown designed by her best friend Dawn Fitzgerald.

But as these exclusive pictures show, blushing bride Rosanna seemed tired after her happy day

‘No cameras or phones allowed’

– although Wes seemed less grumpy with his wedding band in situ.

It was at Rosanna’s father Chris de Burgh’s request that this wedding was kept under wraps. He was so determined to avoid the cameras that he stayed in the car after dropping his mother off at the zhotel entrance.

The happy couple will have little time to savour their newly hitched status, though, with preparations for their next two weddings already in full swing.

The next one is in Ibiza’s Atzaro hotel and spa – where suites can cost up to €810 a night – on June 1 with more than 80 guests.

Last but not least, on June 21, the couple have booked out the fivestar Powerscourt Hotel in Co. Wicklow where more than 250 guests are invited to toast them.

The invites inform guests that ‘no cameras are allowed’ and that phones must be surrendered on arrival to ensure total privacy.
