BOD’S gone so Amy writes herself a job

WITH hubby Brian hanging up his rugby boots yesterday, it seems wife Amy is set on becoming the main breadwinner.

The author, shoe designer and actress has revealed that she’s adding another string to her already impressive bow and is writing her own TV show.

And although she is currently only at the scripting stage of the comedy show, she says it’s already funded.

‘It’s a whole new genre of writing [for me]. I’m used to waffling in a book but you can’t do that with this,’ she said.

Naturally, Amy has written herself in.

‘It sounds narcissistic but I have written a part for myself,’ the 35-year-old told the Ray D’Arcy Show. ‘A lot of the actresses I look up to do, like Amy Poehler, Sharon Horgan and Kristen Wiig. It’s really interesting to create work for yourself.’
