An uplifting tale of Beauty and the Beast of burden

-

WITH the excitement of her wedding this weekend, it’s impossible to know how Rosanna Davison feels about the ultimate wedding gift – having a bullock named after her and hubbie Wesley Quirke.

But the beauty can rest assured that the rescued beast can look forward to a life of leisure now that Peta has taken it under its wing.

The animal rights charity’s Indian wing promises that Davison Quirke ‘will never have to be forced into hard labour again or abused because he wasn’t hauling an unbearably heavy load quickly enough’.

It sounds like beauty and the beast have something in common after all.
