A recently upgraded app for IOS and coming soon for Android phones may help. The Reep Rewards is designed for people who are not tech-savvy. It’s an application that takes the hassle out of consumer spending by allowing you to shop around from the comfort of your home.
In other words, it keeps you to date on every single supermarket special offer going – from Coca Cola to cornflakes. It also applies to pharmaceutical products and electronic goods and is applicable to shops across Ireland, from small retailers to large stores.
It doesn’t matter where in Ireland you live, the app will adjust its information to your geographical location – informing you about offers in stores of all kinds that are located near to you and explaining the exact distance to the shop. The offers are updated in real time – in other words as soon as they happen.
Each time you log in, a grid of offers will be displayed. You simply tick the ones that interest you. This allows the app to build a profile of your shopping preferences so that you’re kept up to date primarily about offers on your favourite products, as well as others. It also tells you how long the offer lasts.
On top of this, once you’ve ticked the offers that appeal to you, it shows exactly how much money you will save each week.
It has an additional benefit in that once you scan your shopping receipt you will receive cash back every time - all of which adds up. This sum can then be redeemed on a vast array of products. What’s more, the Reep Rewards app is free to download and free to use.
