Saint Laurent model Dylan is apple of his father’s golden eye
And Val’s boy Jack also breaks on through to the other side
PIERCE Brosnan’s son Dylan looks set to follow his famous father into the limelight – and in suitably 007 style, his first foray has him modelling a tuxedo for fashion giant Saint Laurent.
Dylan, 17, the eldest son of Pierce, has just been announced as the face of the Parish fashion house’s permanent collection.
Dylan is fronting the campaign alongside another famous offspring, his best friend, Jack Kilmer, the son of Hollywood actor Val.
Stills from the shoot show a brooding Dylan.
In one shot he is posing wearing a classic suit and tie and in another he shows an edgier side in black skinny jeans, a striped shirt and a leather jacket.
But it seems that Dylan landed the modelling job without any help from his famous father or indeed even without his famous surname.
Saint Laurent’s creative director, Hedi Slimane, spotted the darkly handsome teen on a beach in Malibu and wasn’t aware that he was, in fact, a junior James Bond.
Dylan tested for the campaign and his smouldering looks landed him the job.
But he’s not just a pretty face and has also being pursuing a political career. Last summer, he interned in Washington for US senator Ed Markey and it seems he is keen to pursue politics.
But his acting genes could also win through as he is currently studying film and living in California.
And as well as politics and modelling it seems he is also musically gifted. He is understood to be in a band in which he plays the guitar and sings and performs regularly around Los Angeles.
Pierce, meanwhile, seems happy to play the proud father and regularly posts pictures of his son on his social media pages.
Dylan is the latest in a long line of famous Irish offspring to begin to emerge in recent months. Last month, we revealed that Gabriel DayLewis, son of Daniel, had been stepping out from his famous father’s shadow and making a name for himself as a model and musician.
