No fairytale ending for Monaco’s little Princess Gabrielle

CONGRATULATIONS to the lovely Princess Charlene of Monaco, who has completed her royal duty, supplying the small principality with its longed-for heir and a spare. Her twins, Gabrielle and Jacques, were born within minutes of each other and although the little prince was second, he’ll assume the throne because he’s male. It’s strange that the Grimaldis, who suit themselves entirely when it comes to relationships and procreation, are so loyal to outdated and sexist succession laws.
