SHE was famously pictured eating a packet of Tayto during her trip to Dublin for the Web Summit. And now sources have told The Diary that Tayto Park is in talks with actress Eva Longoria to make a return trip and unveil their roller-coaster which is set to open this summer.

‘Talks are currently ongoing to get Eva to open the rollercoaster at Tayto Park. It’s looking quite positive at the moment but we really can’t say more than that,’ said a wellplaced source. Actress Eva, left, put Tayto on the global map when she tweeted a picture of herself with a packet during her trip to Dublin last year.

Tayto Park owner Raymond Coyle has implemented some very successful marketing coups in years including a nationwide search to find a wife for Mr Tayto.

While Eva is said to be smitten with her boyfriend, Jose Antonio Baston, she did seem keen on the rather more portly Mr Tayto as well.
