A lot more attention may be focused on them after the release of singer Rhiannon Giddens’ s first solo album – or maybe she will become just too big for the group’sgroup s confines.con This is because TomorrowT Is My Turn is an absoluteabsol gem of an album. RhiannonRhiann is no stranger to the work o of Odetta or Billie HollidayHollid but she has never channelledcha them as effectively as she does on tracks such as Waterboy and Up Above My Head. Her hip hop take on Bla Black Is The Colour really takes one aback at first. But you’ll have built such trust in her by then to know that everythin everything she touches seems to turn to gold.
