‘Get fit for murder’ text – and slavery contract

-

THE KNIFE EMER McShea, the mother of Graham Dwyer’s eldest child, told the High Court last week that Mr Dwyer used to bring a knife into the bedroom and pretend to stab her during sex. Prosecution counsel Seán Guerin asked her: ‘He told you his fantasy involved stabbing a woman while having sex with her?’

‘Yes, that is right,’ Ms McShea said. THE TEXTS The court heard that a text message reading ‘Must get fit for the murder’ was found on Ms O’Hara’s phone. It was sent from a number recorded as ‘Graham’s phone number’ on her laptop calendar, the jury heard.

Four examples of texts found on Ms O’Hara’s computer were shown to the court, which was told that all the messages were sent from an 083 number. The jury was shown a screen shot of Ms O’Hara’s calendar from June 30, 2011. It read: ‘Graham’s phone number 083 1103474.’ THE IMAGES Elaine O’Hara’s computer contained downloaded images of mutilated bodies, as well as pornography.

There were also a number of images of Ms O’Hara herself, some self-taken, and some taken by another person, said Detective Garda Bríd Wallace. Mr Guerin said many of the images appeared to show healed or partially healed scars just above Ms O’Hara’s waistline. THE CONTRACT A document entitled Outline Of Slave was retrieved from Ms O’Hara’s computer, the court heard. It purported to be a contract for slavery, and was created at 7.54pm on September 18, 2010. It was last modified two minutes later. Detective Garda Wallace suggested this meant it had been downloaded from the net.

It began: ‘I’m offering 24/7 sadistic and brutal treatment for masochistic slaves. Slaves are property...meat. They are loved as a pet or as a cherished car. They are not a wife or a mistress.

‘Slavery is a hard lifestyle to endure, you are not just a sex toy but a complete package. You will be offered an annual contract with no early release for any reason.

‘You will either be kept in a heavy duty steel cage or a locked cell in my cellars.

‘If you’re good… you will have a real bed with steel collar and chained in the room. Agreed limits will be in your contract and adhered to.’
