The yoga boss and the ice hockey fan behind Yourtel
LITTLE is known about the three owners of German group Prima Holding despite the fact that they control telecom, energy and recruitment businesses spanning four countries.
Accounts filed in Germany reveal Marijan Vukusic was born in Berlin to Croat parents in 1976.
Mr Vukusic, a sports and culture fan, listed his address in recent Irish company documents at a historical 1827 house in central Berlin.
His love of sport appears to be reflected in Prima’s various team sponsorships. These include a basketball team, Alba Berlin, and ice hockey team Eisbären Berlin. According to the foundation documents of Prima Holding GmbH, Mr Vukusic owns 40%. Co-owner Marijana Fenster (née Vukusic) was born in 1974.
Last year, Ms Fenster issued a press release detailing her involvement in a new yoga venue at a fashionable Berlin café
located in a listed building dating to 1853. It is unclear if she owns all or part of the building which was extensively renovated at a reported cost of €3.5m in 2011. Ms Fenster owns 20% of Prima Holding.
The third owner, Mario Kovac, was born in 1977 in Berlin to Croat parents. He listed his address in Irish company documents as a modern apartment close to the river Spree.
Mr Kovac owns 40% of Prima.
