Still performing in our 70s like the Stones? We’d take that, says Gary

-

IT’S a remarkable 27 years since they first took to the stage as a fresh-faced boy band.

But despite having millions in the bank, Take That have revealed they have no plans to hang up their microphones and slip away into a comfortable retirement.

In fact – just like The Rolling Stones – they plan to keep performing right into their 70s.

In an interview with today’s More magazine, Gary Barlow declares: ‘I think [the Stones] are bloody amazing and I’d like to see us still performing at that age. I’d do it with pride.’ Gary, 46, and bandmates Mark Owen, 45, and Howard Donald, 48, will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their first album with a tour later this year – and Mark hints that original members Robbie Williams and Jason Orange could join them.

Mark says: ‘He [Jason] is still part of the band – we keep him in the loop. I still think he’ll be back for the anniversary tour.

‘I think Robbie will be back for it too.’
