Moving insight
Last Wednesday’s programme, After The Crash on RTÉ One, was a very good insight into the carnage and upheaval experienced by family members after their loved ones have been fatally injured as a result of such collisions. These family members often receive little or no assistance from any agencies to help them with their grief and loss.
The programme should be distributed to schools, and principals should be encouraged to have pupils, our future drivers, view it, thus educating them as to the dangers on the road.
It might be a help in trying to reduce the number of fatalities on our roads. Joseph Fitzpatrick, Leixlip, Co. Kildare.
