Blair’s not so rash now
IN HIS pro-EU speech this week, Tony Blair urged Britons who support the EU to ‘rise up’ and persuade Brexit voters to change their minds.
‘Our challenge is to expose relentlessly the actual cost, to show how this decision was based on imperfect knowledge,’ he said.
At the risk of alienating passionate Brexiteers, it has to be said that, after his misadventure in Iraq, Mr Blair knows a thing or three about the dangers of making rash decisions based on partial information.
