Schmidt’s men must deliver
JOE SCHMIDT wants consistency. The Irish rugby public would also like a team that is capable of walking a straight line, and winning three, four, five games in a row now and again. It’s what we all deserve. We have an outstanding team, and a great coach. They owe it to each other — after the heroic victories over Australia, South Africa and New Zealand in the last 12 months — to get their act together on a regular basis and live up to their own expectations.
They need to live up to ours too in the second half of the Six Nations.
