Enda faces Dáil grilling over his Gmails

THe Taoiseach is to be questioned in the Oireachtas over whether he misled the Dáil over his use of a Gmail account.

The MoS has revealed Mr Kenny’s use of his Gmail account for sensitive Cabinet memos.

This is despite the Taoiseach’s spokesman originally claiming the Gmail was used only for ‘non-sensitive’ material. When asked during Leader’s Questions about the Gmail, Mr Kenny said: ‘There have been occasions when I have used that personal email… Government agenda or business comes to me via encrypted email addresses.’

Now Fianna Fáil’s Niall Collins has asked a parliamentary question calling on Mr Kenny to address the discrepancy.
