Joanne Larby, who goes by the moniker Make-Up Fairy, came in for criticism this week when she was found to be selling an outfit that was previously gifted to her by a boutique. Her Instagram feed was flooded with comments over her chutzpah that she would profit from something that had been gifted to her.

Joanne countered by saying she had paid to have the top altered and that she donates some of her proceeds from her sales to charity, so she is well within her rights to sell her freebies.
