Street Porter has been pilloried for suggesting that successful author Helen Bailey was ‘naive’ not to realise her fiancé, Ian Stewart, was poisoning her with sleeping pills. Alright, Janet may be accused of insensitivity in so far as her remarks came so soon after the murder verdict. But surely if damning epithets, insults and curses are to be flung at anyone, it should in the direction of the dreadful Mr Stewart, now serving at least 34 years for his evil crime.
