Leave Enda alone
The treatment of the Taoiseach by some Fine Gael TDs is disgraceful. They should remember that when he became leader of his party in 2002, Fine Gael held 31 seats. By Election 2011, Fine Gael had secured 76 seats.
Many of the of TDs who are complaining about him would not be in the Dáil only for Enda Kenny, who has worked tirelessly as FG leader and Taoiseach.
Also, we should remember when he became Taoiseach he inherited a country bankrupt and in an economic mess, with unemployment at 15% – it is now at 7%.
Mr Kenny is a decent, honourable person and does not deserve the criticism he has got from some members of the media and from politicians such as Gerry Adams.
For him to be lectured by Fianna Fáil’s Micheál Martin is appalling.
The Taoiseach should be allowed to retire gracefully and with dignity in appreciation of all the hard work he has done for this country.

…Would you send an inexperienced person to negotiate a deal in Brussels to save us from the worst effects of Brexit?
That is exactly what those in Fine Gael – who want to oust Enda Kenny to satisfy their own personal ambition – will do and we will pay the price for many years to come.
The Taoiseach must stay to see the Brexit matter right through to conclusion.
The alternative is unthinkable
