Louis is now a Mrs Brown boy

X Factor judge joins O’Carroll for TV sketch

LOUIS WALSH is to make his BBC debut – on Mrs Brown’s Boys.

The Irish Mail on Sunday can reveal that the X Factor judge, whose normal home is ITV, has filmed a sketch for Brendan O’Carroll’s upcoming Saturday night chat show.

Walsh flew London this week where he met up with the cast and crew of Mrs Brown’s Boys. They took over a section of Madam Tussaud’s where they filmed a secret segment for the eagerly awaited chat show.

It is understood that Mrs Brown and the music mogul went undercover and mingled with tourists at the waxworks venue for an afternoon.

A source revealed that the Mayo man and O’Carroll have been trying to work together for some time.

‘Brendan and Louis know each other for years but haven’t worked together properly before. They tried to get him in the Christmas special before but because it is filmed in Glasgow and Louis was filming the X Factor in London, it wasn’t possible.

‘I can’t say too much about what they filmed but it was an afternoon in the waxworks and it was very funny.’ The enormously popular Irish mammy will be fronting a BBC show called All Round To Mrs Brown’s.

The premise of the series is that Agnes invites celebrity guests and their mothers to her home, where they will take part in games and engage in banter.

Danny O’Carroll, who plays Buster in Mrs Brown’s Boys, dropped some hints about the new show. He said: ‘It’s a light entertainment show. I wouldn’t call it a chat show.’
