are a few reasons why I would love to see Dr Crokes cross the All-Ireland line on Friday. They have come so close recently that I feel they have earned it, although anyone with a heart would hardly begrudge Slaughtneil. But I would love to see Eoin Brosnan, who I roomed with regularly on Kerry trips, and Colm Cooper get that All-Ireland medal. It’s not all sentiment either, because I really feel the final outcome will will dictate Gooch’s decision as to whether he will continue on with Kerry for another season. With that in mind, you can bet the whole county will be shouting for the Crokes.
