Perhaps, but Flanagan has led the county out of the bottom tier and last year were within striking distance of promotion to Division 2.

Offaly football would be better served by Flanagan (left) focusing on the crunch game against Tipp rather than having to attend a clubs meeting this Tuesday.

They need to hold their nerve and delegates need to hold their tongue.
