Stabbing charge

A MAN has been charged with murder after a stabbing in Dublin on Thursday.

Paul Keating, 49, of Harmonstown Road, Donaghmede, has been charged at Dublin District Court with the murder of Mark Richardson.

Mr Richardson died after a row broke out in a house in Artane on Thursday night.

A number of people were believed to be at the house when the dispute began at around 7.40pm.

Mr Richardson was rushed to Beaumont Hospital after being stabbed.

Mr Keating was arrested at Clontarf Garda Station on Friday night.

Judge Kathryn Hutton granted an application for legal aid at a sitting yesterday evening and remanded him in custody to appear at Cloverhill Court next Wednesday.
