Katie has finally got Jordan off her chest

-

AFTER two decades of legendary antics and improbable breasts, Jordan – Katie Price’s alter ego – has finally been put out of business.

Katie, 38, has spent years trying to kill off her glamour model image, and now she has placed Jordan Trading Limited – owned entirely by her – into liquidation.

According to documents filed with Britain’s Companies House by her administrators, the business owes the taxman almost £200,000 and various lawyers and accountants more than £20,000.

The liquidator’s report also revealed that assets add up to £177,000. The figure also includes payments Katie is waiting for but which she has not yet received, including £10,000 for appearing on ITV chat show Loose Women and £8,000 for book royalties.

In 2009, Jordan Trading Ltd had assets of £1.5m.

The model’s agent said: ‘Katie is winding up Jordan Trading as she is no longer using this vehicle for running her businesses. All debtors are being paid and Katie is now running her affairs through another entity.’

The company is not the only one of Katie’s business interests to have gone into the red. Her firm called KDC Trading Limited – once worth more than £230,000 – reported losses of more than £30,000 in its latest accounts. But the star is far from broke – she is reported still to be worth £40m and currently lives in a £1.4m mansion in East Sussex, southeast England, with 12 acres.

The mother-of-five added to her bank balance last week with a win at Cheltenham, where she was spotted cheering home a 7-1 shot.
