IRISH SCRIMP ON CENTRAL HEATING
Almost seven in 10 (69%) people in Irish households went without heating at some point this winter, according to research from Switcher.ie.
‘With the average household gas and electricity bill now at €2,060 a year, the research shows that this high cost is forcing many to potentially compromise on their comfort, health and well-being,’ says Switcher.
Only 31% of consumers say that they never have to go without heating to keep costs down.
