Take That The trio begin their eighth album with 90 seconds of Asian-influenced dissonance before the title track settles into a slice of pop influenced by Seventies funk. ‘Everybody’s feeling wonderland’ won’t win any plaudits for lyrics, nor will the Giants’ zinger ‘We are giants…bigger than we thought.’ Gary Barlow and Mark Owen can knock out earworms like these and New Day, River and Up, in their sleep. They extend themselves on the interesting Don’t Give Up On Me and the very U2-ish Last Poet but that’s as wondrous as it gets.
